Michelle Callahan, LPC, is Site Supervisor overseeing KidsPeace’s Mount Pocono (PA) outpatient program. Michelle earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Women’s Studies from Wilkes University, and a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from University of Scranton, after which she joined KidsPeace in the Diagnostic program at its Pennsylvania residential treatment facility. In 2014 she became a part of the KidsPeace Community Programs team - working as an Intensive Case Manager, Therapeutic Support Staff, and a counselor in drug and alcohol treatment. She is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and serves as the Chair for the Appropriate Mental Health Appeals Board through the Bethlehem (PA) City Council.
